California Farm to School
The California Farm to School is a state-sponsored program working to connect locally grown food products with a growing demand from K-12 schools and universities and their supply chain partners.
The California Department of Food and Agriculture Farm to Fork Program provides technical assistance and funding to support this effort. See: https://cafarmtofork.cdfa.ca.gov/CaFarmtoSchoolProgram.htm.
The Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) also has a full team and resources developed to aid both producers and purchasers in making procurement connections. See: https://caff.org/farm-to-cafeteria/.
